Instead we get both sides trying to go nuclear on each other rather than find that happy medium. Nuanced debate and rationality are dead, and instead the other side is "literally Hitler" in every and all disagreements. Its frustrating to watch everything become tribalized on all sides.
Trying to take away kids, get people cancelled over donations, whatever it is - that isn't going to change any minds or reduce division in the slightest. Culturally we need a reconing to get back to civility in our disagreements instead of seeking absolute destruction of opposition.

I'd be happier acknowledging the other side more if they (the unvaccinated) would own up to be being the primary cause of restrictions being put in place during the Delta wave. The things that they are protesting were literally initiated by the actions/inactions of the unvaccinated.
