The elephant in the room (as others have already mentioned) is how on earth do you keep everybody next year, in addition to a deadline acquisition with term remaining, while staying under the cap? This team will probably have to move futures to offload Monahan's salary and maybe Lucic's as well (though he could possibly be bought out), which further highlights the importance of not offloading too many futures this deadline.
