Not to defend the players at all, but the taunting of John Doe occurred in the training camp of 2010 which would have been after Aldrich left the team. Black Ace 1 also had taunts made to him sometime in 2010 but it was not clear when. I cannot remember what Boynton alleged but it is possible that the players, or at least most, did not hear of the rumours until Aldrich was gone.
Also I feel like there is a difference between rumours and allegations. The coaching staff and general management was dealing with allegations.
