So?
"Ideally" Lindholm is your second line center. Is Gaudreau-Lindholm-Tkachuk our second line?
"Ideally" requires having the pieces - AKA Jack Eichel - for everyone to be slotted ideally.
I love that Dube is being given a chance to center Mangiapane. Maybe they could even become a solid scoring line. But they'd have to profoundly outscore Backlund's line to be a de-facto second line, because Backlund's line will likely match them in production while facing tougher matchups.
