I have a feeling that may catch up to them tonight. Should be a good game though as lots of offensive talent on display as even without a running game the Raiders are the only team with 4 players with over 200 yards receiving after three games and no other team had more than 2.

The Chargers are playing this new NFL style defence, where they are quite willing to let you go between the 20's 6-7 yards at a time type of thing if you are patient enough to try and do it without taking a penalty or turning the ball over. So they do dare you to check the ball down or run it, and than hope to force red zone field goals/turnovers on downs, than outscore you if you don't screw up.
Carr has actually been throwing a lot deeper this year as I think after last week he had the highest Air Yards per attempt in the league, and had completed more of these deep throws than anyone else. The Chargers likely won't send much pressure, and likely keep 2 deep safety's. So that's a game within the game to see how that plays out.
