Maybe because
- Vaccinations have efficacy rates below 100%. They help immensely, but they're not a cure-all. It's analogous to someone insisting on playing full contact sports without a helmet. My having a helmet may not protect me 100%, but that doesn't mean that guy should be entitled to participate in the same sports.
- Rapidly reproducing organisms like viruses mutate. The more they mutate, the less effective vaccines become. There's a reason there's an annual flu vaccine, and that's because influenza has new dominant strains every year. The only way to reduce these mutations is to actually stop the spread of the virus. Getting vaccinated, and keeping up with whatever new shots are itroduced is the best way to get ahead of the issue.
- It's literally ****ing free for you get your jab. If you want to lose privileges like going to big events, go ahead. Don't whine about your lost priveledges. Homeless panhandlers can get an appointment to get their vaccine the minute they choose to. You have virtually no excuse.
