Doubt anyone on this site wants a GM with no process.

Definition: "a series of actions or steps taken in order to achieve a particular end."

Are we advocating the opposite? Willy nilly? No plan at all? Just pick a name and trade for him?

I think you guys think his process is flawed, but probably are glad there is a process in place.
His processes don't lead anywhere. That's why people hate it. There's no end result or outcome that have you and me and fellow Flames fans saying "Oh I understand now. We really should have been patient because this was worthwhile."

It's become this lame excuse word for floating through space for 7 years.

Tweaking the edges of a flawed team isn't getting us anywhere any time soon. That's all he's done since the Hamilton trade, outside of signing Jacob Markstrom.

He's obviously tried things, but came up short. Rather than telling fans that that was part of the plan and looking disgruntled that people dare ask questions and want to know what the hell is going on, how about being honest and admitting they failed at what they were trying to do, and it didn't go as planned, and owning up to that. At least it would be honest.

You can't tell me what's happened over the past almost decade and the lack of success over that time is part of a grander plan. And yet Treliving speaks of it that way.

Maybe you have a process Brad, but your process sucks. Try a new one, and make sure it has a defined outcome that isn't us continuing to toil in the middle of the standings, not good enough to compete but not bad enough to score a top talent.
