I keep seeing this sentiment that McDavid wanted this. Do we really think that? If I was McDavid I'd be throwing my hands up and laughing in disbelief ala his stalwart McSwept performance from the bench.
Like I'm sick of the guy, but I don't think he's dumb. He has to know that this just makes the team harder to construct into a contender.
