It's really too bad.
We take our team and chances at playoffs so seriously here that we leave development in the dust with certain players. Not like we're competing for anything as is. Let them #### up and learn in game. Only way to improvement. There's no way around mistakes if you want to advance your game, and id like to see that with guys like DD and OK.
This is also why it irks me when people write off Valimaki for being mistake prone this early in his career, particularly after not seeing ice for an extended period. The kid clearly cares about getting better. Give him the opportunity to do that.
