Without knowing what the asset is that's pretty foolish.
If it's a 6th round pick, I'd say Giordano has more value in Calgary, and if things don't go well you up the 6th to a 2nd at worst at the deadline.
but no lets fire him without even knowing what his fantasy asset is in a fantasy trade that hasn't happened.
