I SAID that because you don't condemn those that do hate homosexuals you may as well hate homosexuals yourself because your silence is FAR more dangerous than the words of a single crazy lady. It is your very silence that gives crazy people the courage to say what they say.

I do not doubt your own good intentions but your desire to simply pass this off as 'not newsworthy' when the vice president of the united states, along with other significant republicans, are in attendance and presumably cheering her on (the very same people you presumbably vote for) is questionable at best. Hitler was once just a crazy guy talking in dark basements - but one day his hatred consumed the world. Coulter is far from being Hitler, but the next Hitler may well be listening and our silence and the silence of everyone who supports this faction of the right-wing is what that person now hears.
