For sure it's a long shot and not likely, but I don't think it is outside the realm of possibility any more considering that he is now relatively effective in his role.

I agree with you. I say he's most likely to be picked based on what you said. This season has shown that Lucic does still can be an effective player, and his experience/pedigree being a Stanley Cup champion can be something Kranken are interested in having in the locker room. It's too bad Lucic presence wasn't good enough to make the Flames core play a lot better the past two years.
