that 5.6 for 3 years 1.8 per season in the same spot that Anderson was in.
Andersson had the same choices a Mangiapane... sign or play in Sweden or the KHL for far far less.
On Backlund I get it you love him. He is the 48 th highest paid C in the league and on a team that is lacking centre depth he is #3. The highest paid 3rd line centre in the league should be the 63th
PS Backund is getting paid 1 M less than #31 cap hit center Mackinnon. Backlund in the young years of his last NHL contract should be pretty darn close to a #1C as in the last 2 years of his contract he likely will be on the fourth line.
