God I would have loved to have seen this team with a good coach just once before this roster’s cycle comes to a close, but that hope is gone.
Also, the forward depth is complete junk - so that’s on Tree, as is the Ward hire.

That’s the thing, it’s not just on Ward, and the players need to own it too. But Ward clearly isn’t the solution.
It’s so frustrating that Treliving was given a free mulligan after the Peters thing, and what we saw from Ward in the playoffs and he didn’t take it.
He could have went and hired Boudreau or somebody but no he decided to go with the same staff we had the last two seasons that hadn’t had an answer since the 18-19 all star break.
And I don’t care that Ward wasn’t the head coach then. When 4/5 coaches are still the same coaches then it’s the same staff and message.
