Yeah this also seems like something a guy like Treliving who kind of loves homework would be doing.
"There's stuff going on with the Rangers, let's see if there's opportunities here." Are there disgruntled players who want out, is the Rangers management looking to replace DeAngelo?
It's not like there's a ton of other stuff to keep track of right now anyway, the hockey world os relatively speaking pretty quiet now.
... As a bit of a sidetrack, I just realized that building a reputation as someone who is always looking into everything and always asking questions even when he's not really seriously interested is a pretty good way to sort of cover up what you're actually interested in.
Water is wet, earth is a geoid, Treliving is kicking tires and asking questions. These things are kind of just given, so with that reputation it doesn't mean anything when Treliving is snooping around... until it does.
