In my opinion it is far too early to be worried about him. If he plays great, that is excellent. If he does not, that is to be expected. It is only within an extremely binary view like yours in which contracts, on-ice usage, age, experience, and free agency status are all treated as irrelevant that this question about Nesterov would be even entertained. Here in the real world it looks ridiculous.
