In
normal politics, a Dem House, GOP Senate, and Dem President could in theory work together and pass compromise bills and bi-partisan legislation. Moscow Mitch has made it clear going back to Obama's presidency that a Republican-controlled senate will be 100% obstructionist and pass
nothing the Dems want.
So the most likely scenario is both the pandemic and recession worsen due to Republican senate intransigence, the American electorate erroneously blames "do nothing" Biden, and the GOP wins back control of the House in the 2022 midterms. It's all so sad and predictable.
