Gaudreau - Monahan - Lindholm
Tkachuk - Backlund - Mangiapane (3.0)
M. Lucic - S. Bennett - D. Dube
XXXXXX - D. Ryan - XXXXXX

Giordano - Tanev
Hanifin - Andersson
Valimaki - Petrovic
Kylington (0.8)
Markstrom
Rittich
Leaves only $1.9 million of cap space.
Some major #### is still going to go down IMO.

Maybe, and maybe not. The Flames may just roll with Rinaldo and Gawdwin on the 4th line and try to get Mangiapane on a two year deal with a lower AAV.
I think if Tanev is paired with Gio, then Hanifin-Andersson will become the #1 pairing in the course of the season. And Kylington would be better served developmentally on the 3rd pairing with Valimaki rather than riding the pine; that is Petrovic's job. Young as he is, I think Valimaki already has the tools to compensate for Kylington's defensive liabilities, and the two would be an exciting young pairing with the potential to move up the lineup over the next few seasons. Kylington is already more experienced playing on the right side than the left, and who knows, maybe his upside is eventually becoming a Brodie replacement as a mobile defender who plays on his off side.
