Over the last 4 seasons:
Bobrovsky: .916 save percentage
Markstrom: .913 save percentage

Bobrovsky just got paid $10M AAV / 7 YR (Signed as a 30 year old) last year and you don't believe Markstrom will get close to a 7M figure at potentially a year less term?

Bobrovsky had two Vezina's and a career .921 save percentage in his time in Columbus.
Markstrom has never even been a Vezina finalist, and a career .913 save percentage in his time in Vancouver.
Not even a close comparison IMO. And really Bobrovsky is just even more proof that goalies are Voodoo and giving them a big contract is crazy.
He looked like as sure a thing as there is and he put up a .900 save percentage this season.
