Completely disagree. From a geographical standpoint, yes. From a belief and ideological standpoint, no. Alberta has way too many conservatives and fringe elements to be like Colorado. 25 years ago, maybe, but the Colorado of today is too liberal in many regards. The "traditional" conservatism in Alberta is more like Utah (less the religion) and the fringe (extreme) is just like Idaho (less the guns).
