I'm getting light headed, I need to sit down.

The Flames backed out when Tkachuk fell to them so no I don’t think they were willing to move him. This is all hearsay who knows if that pick was ever really on the table? It wouldn’t surprise me if the Flames were not stoked on Juolevi, Keller, Alex Nylander, Sergachev or Jost. Tkachuk should this be been there at 6 but thanks to the Jackets, Oilers and Canucks he was gift wrapped for Calgary
7x7 didn’t seem like a crazy premium for a goalie that just finished 3 straight years of being an elite 60+ per game starter with a .926 save %. Bishop has a career .920 in over 400 games and a GAA ov 2.34 over his career.
End of the day we don’t know what happened to have the deal fall apart or if the 6th pick was even part of it. My point stands that clearly Elliott was a plan B and I wasn’t a fan of it then and clearly no one is a fan of it now.
I just can’t wait to roll my eyes when I see you post sometime later “I was told the Flames were going to move a top 10 pick for a 29 year old goalie” or some other form of the pure garbage that comes from your fingers.
