This is the one reason why the OEL trade could make sense. If Arizona paid a lot to move OEL to us, it could potentially be worth it. For example, CGY sends them a 2nd round draft pick in 2020, and we get Barrett Hayton (ARI may not be as attached with Chayka gone) and OEL. This would only work if we had a separate deal to trade Giordano for picks/prospects.
What do ppl think of that? Am I an idiot?
