This particular ad doesn't resonate for me, because the obvious counterargument "but coronavirus" isn't addressed. The ad really would have been better if it pointed out that Trump's failure to properly handle the Covid-19 outbreak has led to an ongoing crisis of unemployment and death. That would be fairer and more persuasive.



But I'm guessing that (a) they wanted to squeeze this into 60 seconds, and (b) they prefer to keep their message simple, since a lot of the people they're targeting with it aren't interested in depth or nuance.
