Literally every one of his examples was framed around a forever scenario; eg. arson. I'm not going to dispute that there would be downtime, but a week or so is not forever.

The tweet does not forgive nor condone looting, it is stating that if you are hung up on those things and tuning out the Police Brutality on display at a
police brutality protest you need to rethink things.
