Columbus just tried to trap the rest of the game, but I wouldn't say they were outplaying Calgary. They were just clogging the netural zone to try to win 2-0. Flames dominated the shots and chances after the first, and it back fired for Columbus in the end.

Watching the game I thought the Flames were working hard, but not working as a team. Too many individual efforts, sloppy passing, ineffective dump and chase hockey. I think they went through the first 15 minutes of the third period before making three consecutive passes. But full marks for effort, which got it to OT and then their skill guys took over.
