I agree you don't have to be whiny and doom and gloom about it. But not every fan is just content with closing their eyes and going for the ride. Sports fandom is filled with people being disappointed and crushed by their team. Second guessing coaches and GM's is old as sports. That is kind of the beauty of being a sports fan.

IMO you can hope for the best but still not like or agree with what your team is doing and suggest other approaches.
I think most members of this board fit this description precisely. The poster I quoted most definitely does not.
