I would agree a long suspension would be in order had this been a punch from behind or whatever....but this stuff happens in every single NHL game ever played to varying degrees. Has for as long as I have been watching which is a half century worth. Its absurd and has absolutely nothing to do with "homer glasses". It was a punch...it was called on ice properly as roughing...thats what 99% of all roughing calls are...punches...to another player....simple.

I corrected myself, not sucker punch, cheapshot. And it doesnt matter. He got two games because it was excessive. It's done with. I thought hed get a game at most.
And yes, homer glasses do apply here. Lucic did that as an Oiler flames fans would be calling for a Spanish inquisition.
