One girl in particular mentioned she was drawn along by this for awhile, but once she got to know the person, he was a complete fraud, like everything, job, house, family, friends, (he probably took it to far/literally). hehe

Now one doesn't have to take it that far.. But, unless I was just interested in picking up random chicks at a bar, I don't really see the long term benefit.

I actually think I've had this tried on me before, the weird random comments, then then ignore and then NEG, then some odd looks, I just assumed she was an flakey arrogant bitch Although I could have been out to lunch

Anyway, this is going to be my last reply in this thread until I can manage an update.

Good stuff though
Actually he talks about what you just said, in the book. But it's closer to the end, and I didn't want to ruin it for you. He basically states that his material gets over-used, and saturated by impersonal phonies who aren't true to their word. They are just people trying to manipulate, and the online community he associates with changes from a main goal of "getting the girl" in the beginning to "manipulating people" in the end. He offers several examples.

I'm sure this material is used by people all the time. It's a New York Times bestseller! The author himself explains this fact. But the true principles that you can extract from the writing still remain, and remain as very good advice on dating, sex and picking up women.
