I imagine radio is a pretty thin business these days, pretty hard to pay all sorts of cash out and run whatever overhead they need with whatever bit of advertising they can cash in on. It's not like we pay to listen.
Rhett was junk as an analyst - lazy and very nearly stupid. What he was good it, and it is irreplaceable, was relating what it's like on the ice, in the dressing room etc. I thought his comments (and sometimes lack of comments) about Iginla were enlightening, things like that. 1st person perspective. But analysis? He was monosyllabic. "Gotta play harder than that to win." is not analysis. It might be true, but it's no kind of breakdown.
