The basis of a Brodie - Kadri swap is intriguing, but as others have noted not straight up.
Maybe something like:
Brodie (Some salary retained - $1MM at most)
Czarnik
Prospect (Foo)
For
Kadri
Conor Brown
Leafs would save some cap on this and the flames would get some value for Czarnik who sat a lot of games. Brown is a player that brings some of what Calgary was missing in the playoffs.
