Almost every indication we have is that the Flames would only make a deal if we can get a signed Stone so I don’t know why you keep bringing up the rental deal.
Stone isn’t getting 10 on a 8 year deal, and if he was then I doubt there’d be this much interest from the Flames. It’ll probably settle somewhere around 9 over 8. Regardless, ya, good with moving Brodie and Frolik for sure. And we’re going to have to do more this offseason, and I’m sure Treliving has that all in mind and a general idea in his head. These moves aren’t in a bubble. We give up prospects and futures now but will surely gain many back after the season with trades.
