We've seen the potential he has, and I'll bet most of us feel the rough ECHL and AHL stats are more indicative of rough start than signs of his potential - but he's really just getting this year's season started with his return from injury.
2-0 since coming back (but then pulled Dec 31st after giving up 6...)
Dec 22 W 5-1: 0.969 (31SV on 32SH)
Dec 29 W 3-2: 0.951 (39SV on 41SH)
Dec 31 L 6-5: 0.806 (25V on 31SH) (Pulled for Gillies)
A little awkward...
I don't know where I'd stand on it... but does Parsons and Gillies factor into these decisions at this point? And if so... in what way?
One would hope that he isn't burning time on the bench, and he hasn't done much recently to instill confidence as a NHL 1B... but are the guys that drafted him high enough on him that they just need to see him turning the corner in the AHL to know it's worth a shot here?

For myself who is a Knights season ticket holder there is zero doubt in my mind Tyler Parsons will be a top end #1 goalie down the road. Injuries have set him back though so he will need some time in the minors yet.
