There are no repair guys these days because manufactuers are reluctant to send mom & pop repair guys replacement parts and usually the cost of the parts and repair outweight the cost of an actual new TV. That's the reality with modern electronics. Most are simply not servicable.
You'll have to rely on warranty or factory return. Or if you're daring and your warranty is expired, open her up yourself and see what the problem is.
There was this story on CFCN or Global awhile back about some poor television repairman who basically couldn't do his job anymore and ended up having to start some business selling jams from home.
