That isn't exactly a fair comment though, the Oilers have been brutal but McDavid has been absolutely incredible despite the dreadful Oilers. The fact that he hasn't lead his team to a victory shouldn't be seen as a slight against him but rather a statement about how bad the Oilers club is and how little depth they have.

Listen to Oiler fans for 1/2 a second yap about him or pronounce how he’s superiors to Crosby.
He plays no where near the game Crosby does and I doubt he ever will, or even can.
They’re different body types and if McSpeedy ever comes close to Crosby’s strength down low that will require muscle mass that will work against his skating economy and result in less speed.
He’s the cross over king, he makes high hockey IQ plays at top speed, but winning in today’s game requires that your game is dynamic enough to play more than one way to win.
Crosby has done this in spades. I haven’t seen anything close from McDavid besides him doubling down on stick handling, speed & skill.
