I think Andersson is more ready. And Kylington has moved another step closer. With Prout as insurance I think Treliving needs to look at moving one of Kulak or Stone this year for whatever assets he can get. Maybe around the 20 game mark when he can assess how Andersson is handling the big time and if there are any injury concerns. Probably closer to the trade deadline. Unless of course we are looking like a top contender then you need everybody or you end up in a Brennan Evans situation.

Next year our 7 may well be Gio-Brodie-Hamonic-Hanifin-Andersson-Valimaki-Kylington.

I like it.
Leafs are contenders in the East, but the right side of their D is highly suspect. Frolik, Stone, Rittich, and a 1st for Nylander and McElhinney (or Sparks)?

Then you would have:

Gaudreau-Monahan-Lindholm
Tkachuk-Backlund-Nylander
Bennett-Ryan-Neal (or Neal on his natural left side and do Neal-Bennett-Ryan)
Dube-Jankowski-Czarnik

Giordano-Brodie
Hanifin-Hamonic
Kulak (or Valimaki)-Andersson

Smith
McElhinney
