Well when you put it that way, I'm glad I bought a bunch of $30 Reebok retro jerseys from SportCheck.
Items that aren't new or groundbreaking:
- Points for not doing something stupid like a new bedazzled western horse wordscript logo combo
- Negative points for not making these home jerseys and making a new alternate
- Negative points for literally doing a rehash of the retro. Make it a remix, a redux, whatever you want to call it. Use the same palette, but for the love of god change it a bit. Thin the stripes. Thicken the stripes. Add the CF/mountain shoulder patches. Put the snot donkey on as a shoulder patch. If I have 8 reebok retros sitting in my closet, give me enough of a reason to buy this. Don't make me put them side by side and think "Is the only difference the size tag?", then charge me $150 more for the privilege.
You want a new arena? You have a license to print money. Either make the alternate a "Retro 2.0", or bring this to the primary home, do whatever you want for the away, and have fun with the third. Don't leave money on the table and whine you're going to move the team.
