With Kawhi, even in that deal where the Raps hypothetically give up a ton, there's no question they're better this year and good chance they'd be best in the East.

Then, if and when Kawhi walks, it's a scorched earth rebuild and best chance to draft an elite talent anyway, vs meddling as a playoff bubble team which they could very well do with the depth they have on the roster.

So, my vote would be to enjoy a fun year with Kawhi in the fold, accept our fate as needing to rebuild in the near future anyway, and see how it plays out.
