Nashville chose to protect Calle Jarnkrok over him, Neal had 6 goals in 22 playoff games for them and 41 regular season points while being a minus player on a very good team. Do you think they would have made the same decision had he been more productive, especially considering how scoring forwards was one thing they did not have much of? LV has a ton of cap space and from what I read did not think he was worth more than 5 million. Yes, he is one the leading goal scorers in the last 2 playoffs, but if you do a goals- per-game analysis, it's a. Different story. Again, I may be wrong about this, but imo he is overrated.
