We have the cap space and apparently he wants to play in Canada, but not in a major market.
So Toronto and Montreal are out.
Edmonton can't afford him.
Winnipeg can't afford him.
That leaves Calgary, Vancouver and Ottawa.
I think its a possibility for sure. I wouldn't say there is no way.
If Tavares doesn't sign with NYI, its definitely a possibility.
