The new Aridrie Ridings confuse me, tbqh. Depending on how the city itself is divided, They seem to have taken a single urban riding and split it into two that are 3:2 urban-rural splits. On the one hand, I would argue this was done by the NDP to minimize the power of a vote in rural areas north of Calgary. But, on the other, Airdrie itself has been safely Conservative for decades. It's one area where I think Notley and co will come to realize that their high vote count in 2015 was protest rather than change in the attitude of the population.
