At no point did I or anyone else blame Peters 100% for Staal's 2 bad seasons.

He simply did not get the best out of him.

The Flames situation is such that they have a lot of similar very well paid players who haven't had a lot of team success relative to players of their stature.

It is very important that Peters gets his best paid players on the Flames to perform to close to the level they are being paid.

I do not see the track record in this area that Peters has. In his small sample of coaching important players he did not do an excellent job.

Sutter went into LA and Doughty/ Carter / Quick/ and Kopitar played to a much higher level than they were before he got there.
