Carrier was massively running Doughty all game- no charging penalties dished out. He was running Gio in the last flames/knights game which is where he came onto my radar. For an 'energy' tough guy, Carrier sure can't seem to take what he dishes out. Another player that runs guys till the cows come home but you run him back he goes crying to the officials. 1 NHL fight this whole season.

Who he is shouldn't play into the discussion when evaluating a dirty play IMO and Doughty is no saint. Also I'm a little confused about the "
can't seem to take what he dishes out" comment as he got his bell rung. It's not like ability to take a head shot has any correlation to how tough or hard nosed a player is. Carrier plays the way we wish Ferland would play on a nightly basis finishing checks and taking a toll on opposition players and I'm pretty sure the league isn't going out of their way to protect him.
