Honestly I love that he tried to plug through all of that but Id rather lose the season the way we did while getting Monny out the minute the wrist thing happened.

There was a point this season where I couldn't understand why Monahan and Johnny were not clicking. This explains a lot, however it is amazing he still got 30 goals. This might also explain why the team kind of shut down emotionally late in the season with so many of the main guys out due to concussions and what not. Not wanting to make excuses for the team down the stretch because every team has injuries.
