Something like Palat, Koekkoek, Foote, Raddysh, 2018 1st, 2019 2nd (that becomes a 1st if the Lightning win the Cup in 18 or 19) feels like a pretty good return for Ottawa without taking too much off the current Tampa roster.

I feel many teams can match that offer. You guys could be right but if I am Ottawa I don’t even listen to Tampa unless Sergachev is in the deal. That is an extremely underwhelming package considering the first is a lock t be 25th-31st
Ottawa can do this deal at the draft or the summer. They can dictate the return right now and I feel it will require an overpay to get EK this year
