It would probably help not only Janko but Benny as well to actually have a top 9 winger for them to play with.
I'm not saying they both wouldn't still be struggling to some extent but given they are still finding their ways in the league playing them with 4th line talent in Hathaway or Brouwer is not going to do them any favours.
The hard facts are we have a shortage of top 9 forwards as all of Stajan, Lazar, Lomberg, Hrivik and the 2 mentioned above are all 4th line talents at best. I don't quite think a recovering Versteeg is going to be that either especially considering he was struggling before the injury.
Adding another winger that can help that 3rd line will be huge boost to the team as we are pretty set on defense and in goal.
