Just got home. Here's my take;

2. Brodie and Backlund looked like they polished off a few bottles of wine before the game tonight. That was arguably the worst game I've ever seen Backlund play. Downright pathetic.
3. Anyone who says Gaudreau isn't elite or a true superstar is insane. He is among the most exciting players to watch in the game today. Actually I really liked the whole top line tonight.

I thought Backlund was worse last game, he’s not been at all the same this year. Last year he was playing like he had something to prove but this year he seems to be taking nights off. Really hope he shakes out of it.
