Unless the refs actually looked at a video clip and then called the minor before starting the play again, they can't be expected to see everything, so your condemnation of the refs is a little emotional to be honest.
Refs deserve some of the heat they get on some plays and missed calls when it's clear and obvious, but not all situations are the same.
