I just recently re-discovered the fun and raw energy of the Pat Travers Band.

Also I just compiled some of the old Southern rock stuff... .38 Special, Molly Hatchet, Montrose, ZZ Top, Skynard etc...

There really was a TON of great stuff through the late 60's and through the 70's....into the early 80's, including a bunch from Canadian artists.

Other good guitar driven bands (just off the top of my head)

The Kinks, Blue Oyster Cult, Ted Nugent, BTO, Cheap Trick, Golden Earring, Alice Cooper, and on and on.
