Not really, no. Most of the complaints I've heard over the years revolved around the times the Flames have gone with non-heavy rock songs and how dull they made things. Lost Prophets' "Rooftops" from a few years ago being a major example. On the one hand, this possibly only argues that the Flames are just terrible at picking songs in both directions, but anecdotally, I think a majority prefers the harder songs.
That being said, I think Flash was complaining about the entire game presentation from start to finish. In that regard, I've never found the Flames to be any better or worse than other arenas I've been to. There are some that were clearly worse (Edmonton and 99% of their presentation being Simpsons clips and fans stuffing their faces) and some that were better (Vegas, as one would expect). Most just follow the same playbook, it seems.
