By most accounts, Poirier has looked great in practice and looked real good down in Stockton. Needs more time and seasoning, but there is still reason for optimism.
Also, while Foo isn't ready, he is showing promise as well. There are going to be options, going forward.
Jagr is a perfect fit to fill the gap until someone steps up. Just as Smith was a perfect gap-fill in net.
